about me

My practice is concerned with deconstructing binaries, investigating materials through a tactility that dances in the interplay of tenderness and violence. Intrigued by the juxtaposition of dead/alive and beautiful/grotesque, I consider how opposite forces can be present within fragile and translucent materials.

I investigate the concept of breaking and dismantling, curious about how this potential is ever-present physically within inanimate objects and each piece is approached impulsively without knowing if it will stay intact. Work is perhaps simultaneously enticing and repulsive. I work with a delicate urgency; intimate violence.

Originally from Birmingham, I recently graduated from BA Fine Art with Contemporary Cultural Theory at University of Leeds with First Class Honours. I received the Head of School Art Prize when graduating in July 2025, and went on to complete a 2 month residency In Switzerland (August-September 2025), at Kunstzürichsüd. Previously the President of SASHA (Students Against Sexual Harassment and Assault) society and currently working with Talk Consent to dismantle the culture of sexual violence, this activism/community engagement deeply informs my practice.

Recent exhibitions include ‘Spilling Through the Cracks’ in Switzerland (September 2025), ‘Make No Bones’ BA Fine Art Degree Show at University of Leeds (June 2025) and ‘Distilled’ at SERF studios (March 2025).
